Both Aiai Delas Alas and Miguel Vera have talked publicly about their past marriage.

Remember that they shared the same talent manager, the late Angie Magbanua, when their love affair first began in 1992.  Despite spending six years married, they called it quits in 1998.

The former couple also sat together again and recalled their previous marriage in a new interview. Vera claimed that he had learnt some valuable lessons from their failed marriage.

He did come to the realization that, “Natutunan ko yung paggawa ng mga desisyon na hindi padalus-dalos. Nagkaroon ng problema dahil sa desisyon, hindi nagbibigayan, nagkaroon ng miscommunication…”

What happened to them was this. The translation of their feelings was lost on them. He hopes that after learning this lesson, it won’t happen in his subsequent relationships. He said that having Aiai around is always a pleasure after spending time with her in the past.

According to a PEP report, “Masaya kami. Hindi lang kami masaya kapag nag-aaway kami,” The Queen of Comedy was also mentioned.
