The fifth and final bail hearing in actor Vhong Navarro’s r@pe case has concluded.

The actor-enyertainer did not appear in person since he requested to be questioned via video conference.

But his lawyer, Atty. Alma Mallonga, attended the hearing. For the cross-examination of Denice Cornejo, who arrived with her lawyer, Atty. Howard Calleja.

Cornejo and his team refused to be interviewed.

Meanwhile, according to Atty. Mallongga, they are pleased with the outcome of the bail hearing and they keep hoping that Navarro can get bail and spend Christmas with his family.

“We did our best. We did everything that was necessary in our belief to show the truth and the truth is that Vhong from our perspective is entitled to bail,” Mallonga stated.

“Mas na-appreciate niya ang family, mas nakita niya ang pagmamahal ng mga anak niya at asawa niya sa kaniya, nanay niya, at fans. Support ng mga kaibigan,” she added.

The formal offer of documentary evidence will be made on Friday, and it will be submitted for resolution on Monday.
