Valeen Montenegro is getting married to her non-showbiz boyfriend, Riel Manuel.

On Sunday, November 28, the model-comedian shared photos from the proposal, which took place on November 24.

“Easiest yes,” she wrote alongside photos of the couple strolling through the woods before Riel got down on one knee and pulled the ring from his pocket.

 “What seemed to be an ordinary Thursday unexpectedly turned into my favorite day.”  she added.

Megan Young, Julie Ann San Jose, Yasmien Kurdi, Camille Prats, Jessy Mendiola, and Janine Gutierrez were among the celebrities who congratulated the couple.

Valeen and Riel have been in a relationship since 2018.

Valeen can be seen on GMA’s sitcom Bubble Gang on a regular basis. She has also appeared in GMA shows such as Encantadia, Beautiful Justice, and To Have and To Hold.

In 2006, she was one of the rising stars signed by the talent management company Star Magic. Her acting debut was as a guest star in “The Adventures of Pedro Penduko.”
