It should be mentioned that following the incident involving Tony Labrusca at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in 2019, when he was also with actor Alex Diaz, rumors soon emerged regarding the supposed actual score in the two’s relationship. Tony addressed the situation after nearly four years.

“Akala kasi nila, ‘yung kasama ko [Alex Diaz], dyowa ko. Ako kasi taga-Vancouver, ‘yung kasama ko taga-Alberta. The only flight that brings you back to Manila is from Vancouver,” stated Canadian Tony in an interview recently His best friend, he revealed, was Alex, with whom they had previously gone home.

The speculation intensified after images of the two emerged after they went bungee jumping in Canada. It should be noted that Alex was also implicated when he backed Tony in the controversy surrounding his NAIA incident.

“Tapos ang dami ko na lang narinig na yung nga, kasama ko raw dyowa ko.  Inaawat ako. Magka-holding hands daw kami dun,” Tony added, explaining that it was difficult because he and Alex were in separate lanes when they arrived at the airport.

According to what was reported online, there is no truth to the allegations that Alex separated her since there was no issue from the start.

Tony just gave up on popular opinion: “Wala na akong magagawa dun.”

The actor revealed that he mainly apologized to Alex for the negative feedback he received following the event.

“At that time, sobra akong focused sa sarili ko. Sobrang selfish ko hindi ko siya naisip. Tapos parang may one day dun ko na-realize na hindi pa ako nag-sorry sa kaniya,” Tony explained.

Despite being apprehended, the actor promised Alex that he had apologized.
