Even though their relationship was said to be complicated, Nick Carter said that his love for his late brother, Aaron, did not disappear.

On Instagram, the Backstreet Boys member posted a photo of her and Aaron when they were kids.

In his caption, Nick said, “My heart is broken.”

“Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded. I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed,” Nick said.

He continued, “Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here.”

Nick even said that he will miss his brother. He also believes that Aaron will find peace that he has never seen in the world.
This Saturday, 34-year-old Aaron was found dead in his house.
