Maine Mendoza, in her most recent interview, has finally clarified who invested in their family’s businesses.
Maine used her recent interview with Ogie Diaz to clarify that their businesses were all thanks to her parents.
“Yung iba, nagtatanong sila, ano nang na-achieve ni Maine sa kanyang pag-aartista?” Ogie stated.
Maine stated that while she has received many blessings since entering show business, her parents are the sole beneficiaries of their success.
“Sobrang dami and yung blessing na yun, naging blessing din not just for me but for my family also. Pero, I just wanna set the records straight kasi yung iba, iniisip din na yung mga business namin ngayon, fruits of my labor. Actually, yung gasoline station, nandiyan na po yan even before I entered the industry and yung McDonald’s franchise po, wala po akong ambag dun. So pera po yun ng parents ko,” she stated.
According to Maine, some of her former supporters have stated that they would not have such businesses if it weren’t for them.
“Yung ibang mga ‘supporters’ na, who they turned their back against me, is parang iniisip nila na, ‘Kung hindi naman sa amin, wala naman kayong ganito, ganyan.’ So ngayon ko lang din nasabi, Mama Ogs,” she says.
