Kean Cipriano, the former frontman of the now-defunct rock band Callalily, admitted he is not on good terms with his former bandmates.
He made the revelation during a one-on-one interview for Ogie Diaz’s vlog channel.
Things would have been different, according to Kean, if they had first talked among themselves to determine the root cause of the problem.
However, the issue suddenly exploded on social media, and they were powerless to intervene.
“I think ang sad part lang is umabot siya sa point na instead na mag-usap-usap, eh napunta sa social media ‘yung issue kaagad. Do’n kaagad dinala,” Kean stated.
When asked if he and the other members of the now-defunct band were still on good terms, Kean said yes.
“Definitely hindi kami okay. Hindi kami goods, diba? It’s sad na gano’n. Kasi ako naman, i’m always willing to talk, discuss things, gano’n,” he stated.
He did, however, say that the band had a “good run” and that they were a successful group.
Nonetheless, he admitted that he felt his time with the group was coming to an end.
“We had a good run. We’ve done it,” Kean said.
“I felt my time is done doon,” Kean revealed.
When asked if they could possibly get together again for a reunion, he said no way.
“Hindi siguro. I don’t see it. Not now, not tomorrow,” Kean says.
