The rain brought by Bagyong Paeng has caused heavy flash floods in five barangays in Hinobaan.

Because of the southward shift in its forecast track, Tropical Storm Paeng (Nalgae) is now expected to make two landfalls.

In a briefing after 11 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) stated that Paeng might make its first landfall in or pass very near to Catanduanes on Saturday, October 29.

Then, on Sunday, October 30, it could make its second landfall in Aurora or Quezon.

According to PAGASA, the tropical storm might well move west northwest toward Central or Southern Luzon until Sunday.

Paeng remained strong on Thursday evening, with sustained maximum winds of 65 km/h and gustiness of up to 80 km/h.

However, it is anticipated to intensify into a severe tropical storm on Friday, October 28, and a typhoon by Saturday.

As Paeng begins to dump rain, the weather bureau has warned the general public to brace for landslides and floods.
