Bongbong Marcos, the president of the Philippines, announced the last day of October as a special non-working holiday.

Several Filipinos are already making plans for when to visit graves as All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, or UNDAS 2022, approach quickly.

The proclamation designating October 31 as a special non-working holiday was signed by President Bongbong Marcos.

A latest statement surfaced declaring a special non-working holiday. For individuals who desire to return to their home provinces, this may be the ideal opportunity,  according on a GMA News report. 

Numerous Filipinos visit graves during UNDAS to put flowers and candles and light candles for their departed loved ones. Many cemeteries are currently getting ready for that too.

Local governments, retail shops, financial firms, and other organizations issue regulations in advance of the All Souls’ Day celebration.

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the Manila North and South cemeteries beginning on Saturday, October 29, and continuing until Wednesday, November 2.
