Vice Ganda, Kapamilya TV personality and comedian, couldn’t wait to respond to netizens who slammed actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi’s appearance in their latest film.

Vice and Ivana will appear together for the first time in the film Partners in Crime, which will be one of the entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. This Monday, October 10, 2022, ABS-CBN Star Cinema debuted the Partners in Crime teaser, which features Ivana’s distinct look.

The A Family Affair star’s hair appears curly and brown in the teaser video, which is the polar opposite of her natural skin and hair color. As a result, several netizens cooled down and responded to the actress’ looks.

A netizen commented (as is): “Pag eto nagkamake over tas naging straight yung buhok… lordddd nagsstart pa lang ako makakita ng maraming tao na inaaccept yung curly hair nila, step backwards na naman po ata ang magaganap.” Vice promptly retweeted it on his The It’s Showtime host also wondered what was wrong with Ivana’s curly hair in their film.
