A paternity suit was brought against the Kapuso star by the son he allegedly abandoned.

Richard Yap is a actor-singer, model, and businessman.

He entered into a management agreement with GMA Artist Center on December 16, 2020.

However, Yap just recently gave a status update on the cyb3rlibel case he filed against former Cebu City Councilor Prisca Niña Mabatid, according to social media.

This came after Mabatid charged Yap of having an illegitimate son and reportedly using government funds for his congressional campaign.

A day after, Josh Jensen, the actor’s reportedly abandoned son, filed a paternal suit against him, according to a public document uploaded on social media by Mabatid.

Mabatid expressed her desire that the DNA testing will happen since she is worried about the wellbeing of the boy.

Regarding the paternity suit brought against him by his allegedly abandoned son, Yap has not yet made any statements.
