A video of one of the rescuers who drowned in Bulacan while attempting to assist in San Miguel during Typhoon Karding’s onsl@ught has gone viral.

A source broadcasted the footage shot before his body was discovered. He could be heard in the video assuring the citizens of San Miguel that they would simply have to wait for them.

“Hintayin ninyo, San Miguel,” the rescuers stated.

On September 25, rescuers from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office were performing rescue operations in Brgy. San Miguel, Bulacan.
