President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will visit Indonesia and Singapore this month, according to Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles on Friday.

“Iko-confirm ko rin lang po ‘yung dalawang state visit, to Indonesia at saka to Singapore. Itong September 4-6 sa Indonesia at 6-7 sa Singapore. Kung may katanungan dito, actually wala pa tayong masyadong detalye pero kino-confirm namin na tuloy po ito,” Cruz-Angeles remarked.

Marcos’ first formal state travels as President of the Philippines were to Indonesia and Singapore.

Meanwhile, Cruz-Angeles stated that Marcos’ trip to the United States is being planned. The President is anticipated to attend and address the United Nations General Assembly.

“As for the United States, for the visit doon sa US, it’s still being worked out, although nagsabi ang Pangulo that he will be going,” she added. “We will release the details on this as they come in.”
