The Board of Mechanical Engineering administered exams in August 2022 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reports that 3,184 out of 5,880 candidates passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination and 140 out of 174 candidates passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination.

Online registration will be available for the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration on October 21–31 and November 2–4, 2022, respectively. Please follow the instructions for first registration at www.prc.gov.ph. A completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification purposes only), two passport-sized photos (colored with a white background and a full name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and one small brown envelope must all be brought while registering. Successful candidates should sign themselves in on the Roster of Registered Professionals and personally register there.
