On Tuesday, at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. attended the state funeral of the late former President Fidel V. Ramos.

Ramos was related to Ferdinand Marcos Sr., the late former president, through his second cousin.

As he honored Ramos’ achievements for the nation throughout his term, the President referred to him as a “symbol of stability.”

Marcos was spotted next to former First Lady Amelita “Ming” Ramos at the cemetery site. Ramos is a distant relative of Marcos.
The country’s 12th president Ramos had a state funeral with full military honors.

Ramos will be honored from July 31 to August 9, 2022, according to the Chief Executive.
