The driver of the multicab in which Jovelyn Galleno was last seen on CCTV footage has been identified and interviewed by Radyo Bandera Philippines (RBP).

He was questioned about the time Jovelyn was last seen on the multicab he was driving, which he claimed did not belong to him but was subject to the boundary system.

The driver also stated that because he serves so many passengers, he can no longer recall the events that occurred on the day Jovelyn boarded the multicab that he was driving.

He also stated that he was paying attention to the road rather than the faces or identities of the passengers.

“Nung Aug. 5, 6:56pm. ng gabi, may napansin ka ba na babae, naka-T-shirt ng kulay yellow?” asked the RBP reporter.

“Ay wala na po sir. Kasi di ko nga natatandaan kung sino yung mga sumasakay sakin… Tapos biglang imbestigahin na halos one week ang nakalipas, wala na po sir..” said the driver.

“Di mo na maalala?” the reporter asked.

Pero nung galing ka sa Robinson’s Mall, ilan yung pashero?” he added.

Sir, sa madaling salita, yun hong mga araw na yon, talagang wala na akong matandaan…Wala na po kasi nakapokus na ako sa pagda-drive nun…” the driver stated.

“Halos one week na po ang nakalipas eh araw-araw din akong nagbabyahe…” he added.

The reporter prodded him further, but he couldn’t recall any specifics.

Jovelyn Galleno, 22, works in a mall in Palawan. According to her sister, she went missing on August 5. Jovelyn’s employer stated that she had already logged out around 6:30 p.m. on that particular day. The sister also stated that Jovelyn spoke with one of their siblings but never returned home.
