Joshua Garcia, a Kapamilya actor who often wore a shirt throughout his previous teleseryes, was questioned regarding his “no shirt” moment in the new series Darna.
Joshua will present his acting abilities as the main character in Jane de Leon’s upcoming Darna. According to the report in Bandera, Joshua Garcia had a scene during a previous media briefing for this new series in which he wasn’t wearing a shirt.
He claimed that he would do this without hesitation. It’s because he believes the scene is appropriate at this moment already. All he had to do, he said, was take off his shirt, and everything would be well.
He acknowledged that he had to prepare certain preparations for that specific moment, though.
“Nahirapan lang akong mag-prepare. Medyo nagbuhat ako nang kaunti. Kaunti lang. Hindi talaga ako sanay na nagbubuhat,” the actor stated.
He added that it was outside of his comfort zone and that he didn’t see anything wrong with his doing it. The actor said that this project made him feel “kaba.”
It is as a result of the fact that Chito Roo, an outstanding director, is in charge of them.
Joshua Garcia, however, claimed that Direk Chito is enjoyable to work with and that he has taught him a lot.
