Actress AJ Raval, who is said to be dating actor Aljur Abrenica, claimed that it is useless to address her rumored pregnancy.

AJ posted pictures of herself showing her flat stomach to disprove the accusations that were going around.
She added that she did not test positive for pregnancy but rather for COVID-19. She left her lock-in shooting for a movie since she was pregnant, and that is the main concern of the netizens.

Her mother, Alyssa Alvarez, defended her throughout this situation.

The Philippine Star said that AJ Raval recently made her first public appearance despite the pregnancy speculations during the special screening of her recent movie, Sitio Diablo.

The Viva actress emphasized throughout the interview that there was no point in responding to the question. 

“Bahala na sila kung ano ang paniniwalaan nila, kasi the more you explain or defend yourself, lalo ka nilang aatakihin,” she explained.

During the special screening, AJ’s father, leading man Jeric Raval, supported her. He disproved the pregnancy rumors as well. Jeric claimed that because his daughter lives with him, he is aware of her activities.

“Iisa ang tinitirhan namin sa Quezon City at kung umuuwi kami sa Pampanga, isa lang bahay namin,” the seasoned actor said. He also said that it would be “sayang” if AJ will get pregnant at the peak of her career. “Alam ko at 21, alam na ni AJ ginagawa niya, pero andito lang kaming mga magulang para gabayan siya,” Jeric Raval claimed.
