Enrique Gil looks to be returning to TV and movies for the first time in two years, as he just met with ABS-CBN officials.

As seen on ABS-CBN Films head Kriz Gazmen’s Twitter and Instagram profiles yesterday, July 14, the actor may be seen alongside Star Magic and ABS-TV CBN’s production head Laurenti Dyogi, as well as other creative personnel and network officials.

Gazmen said, “So [excited]! Look who’s back #ItsAboutDamnTime,” 

Gazmen did not provide any other information on Gil’s return, but supporters are still excited about the chance of it happening soon.

Gil has been out of the spotlight since March 2020. He was most recently seen on television in “Make It With You,” in which he co-starred with his longtime on- and off-screen partner, Liza Soberano.The show was canceled in 2020, amid the height of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Soberano, meanwhile, is easing back into the spotlight after signing with James Reid’s company, Careless Music, last month.

Ogie Diaz, Soberano’s former manager, revealed in May that the pair had been cautious about embarking on new projects owing to safety concerns during the COVID-19 outbreak.
