Liza Soberano made her South Korean television debut in the show “Not Hocance But Scance.”
Liza Soberano was presented to Korean performers Nicole, Kang Ji-young, Ye Ji-won, and Soyou in a YouTube video broadcast by Korea’s MBN Entertainment.
When asked why she was in Seoul, Soberano said, “Kinda vacation, kinda work.”
“I’m just exploring Seoul. And I”m a huge fan of K-pop and K-dramas. So I want like try to find work here.”
When asked why she enjoys Korea, Soberano replied, “I’ve liked it since I was 11, It started with K-pop and then I started watching dramas like ‘Boys Over Flower’ and stuff.”
Soberano conveyed her thanks to the Korean show’s hosts and guests in an Instagram Stories post.
Soberano previously made news after dancing video footage of her with singer and entrepreneur Jay Park and Donghyuk from K-pop group iKON went viral.
Soberano spoke with the hosts over a barbecue lunch, as shown in a clip from the episode posted yesterday on the network’s YouTube site. Soberano remarked about the objective of her journey to South Korea during their conversation when one of the hosts inquired about it.
