People no longer tried to ask Vic Sotto for a response or an explanation of the stories scattered about them by Julia Clarete.
Obviously, it’s fake news.
Moreover, it’s not only once, but a set of stories about veteran comedian-TV host Julia’s alleged pregnancy, until the actress allegedly sued Bossing Vic.
What else is there to the story that has moved Vic’s wife, Pauleen Luna?
And yet, Bossing Vic never overlooked it.
But even though he did not directly state the problem, it was clear that he was relating to it when he began to talk at Eat Bulaga! On Saturday, July 10th, I spoke about “fake news.”
He said, “Eto, makinig kayo, hehehe!
“Sa mga… eto ang hugot ko for the day, sa mga nagsa-cyberbully o gumagawa ng fake news, o naninira ng tao sa social media lalo na… o sa ibang paraan…
“Lagi ninyong tandaan na may nasasaktan kayo, at iyan ay pagbabayaran ninyo. Huwag ninyong isipin na dahil pinalalagpas lang ng iba ay mahina o naduduwag.”
He took a breather to point, then continued: “Nakikita kayo. Tandaan ninyo iyan, nakikita kayo, at hindi natin ‘yan palalampasin.
“Darating ang araw na may paglalagyan kayo. Ito ang huli… N’yo!
“Abangan. Abangan n’yo yan. Yung mga nambu-bully o nami-meyk news, abangan niyo. N’yo!”
Bossing Vic laughs as he chooses to speak, but he is clearly mad and irritable at whoever is spreading such fake news.
Jose Manalo adds “tama iyan, Bossing,” highlighting the word “nyo.”
We’re just intrigued by the phrase “may paglalagyan kayot” and the emphasis on “n’yo” and “kayo” used by Bossing Vic.
Is it possible that he already knows who did it? Not just one, but several?
So, what does he intend to do with those who scattered this fake news, as he says “may paglalagyan kayo”?
