Sunshine Garcia was interviewed about her husband, Alex Castro, being Bulacan’s next Vice Governor.

When asked about the strain of being the vice governor’s wife, Sunshine stated that she is refusing to modify her personality.

Sunshine claims that her spouse, Alex, does not want her to modify how she portrays herself.

“Kung sa personality wala naman. Ayaw ko ma pressure na kailangan less na pagging makulit ko or kailangan finess eme eme kana.

“Ayaw din naman ng asawa ko yun. Basta lagi nya sinasabi sa akin ‘Mama, kung ano ka lang mas ok. Hindi kailangan magbago ng ugali’,”

However, the former Sexbomb dancer expressed concern that her spouse may be unfairly criticized by those who tend to focus on politicians’ flaws.

“Hindi siguro pressure ang tamang term. Siguro mas nag worry ako sa asawa ko na gawin nya na lahat ng nakikita nya na makakabuti sa Bulacan pero hindi magiging enough sa ibang tao. Or meron syang hindi matulungan majudge na sya kaagad,” Sunshine said.

Sunshine Garcia is a Filipina dancer and actress, born Lyn Garcia-Castro. From 2002 until 2013, she was a member of the dance ensemble SexBomb Girls. She has appeared in a number of television shows, including Encantandia, Magic Kamison, and Daisy Siete. On March 2, 2019, she married actor Alex Castro, who is currently the deputy governor of Bulacan.
