Even though she backed former Vice President Leni Robredo during the 2022 elections, megastar Sharon Cuneta appealed for sympathy and support for President Bongbong Marcos.

Despite the fact that her parents were friends with both Imelda and Ferdinand Marcos, the previous president and first lady, Sharon nonetheless voiced critiques of the political family before the elections.

She did, however, mention her friendship with the PBBM and Vice President Sara Duterte during a speech at a campaign rally.

Like so many other personalities from Kakampink, Sharon Cuneta has shown her support for a new leadership.

According to a report in Balita.net.ph, after the elections, the Megastar shared her “panawagan” with all Filipinos.

“There is a new Philippine President. We have to pray for him and wish him only the best because we have to be united as a country and whoever the Filipino people have chosen, we have to respect, honor and pray for,” Sharon stated.

Sharon said that everyone should just come together and put politics aside since this is PBBM’s time to restore their family’s reputation.

“Because he has a rare chance of redeeming the name and we pray he does because it will be good for every Filipino. So let’s unite and let’s forget politics. Naka-move on na ‘yung mga kandidato, ‘yung iba hindi pa,” the Megastar continued.

“And also, if we wish him na hindi siya maging successful de tayo rin ang kawawa so let’s just pray for him. Let’s support him,” the Songbird stated.

Sharon Cuneta agreed with her when she urged Filipinos to pray for and wish the next President well.

“All the best President Marcos,” Sharon Cuneta added.
