Ryssi Avila’s voice wowed “Idol Philippines” judges Regine Velasquez, Chito Miranda, Gary Valenciano, and Moira dela Torre. Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez quickly inquired about the girl’s motivation for entering the competition.

Ryssi stated that she desired a fresh start after becoming caught up in a scandal at the time. Ryssi and Con became well-known on social media for their coverage of popular songs.

However, the two divorced in 2020, which is also when his relationship with Zeinab and Skusta Clee began. Ryssi went to Skusta’s house back then to collaborate and record a new song as a way of coping, but it didn’t become a major concern for her to change direction.

“Matagal na po kaming magkaibigan [at] magkakilala [ni Skusta Clee] since 2015 bago pa siya sobrang sumikat,” Ryssi explained.

“After po malaman ng ibang tao na nandoon ako [sa bahay] ni Skusta, medyo mali rin po ‘yung na-post na info [gaya ng] may relationship daw po kami, na inagaw ko daw po si Skusta,” he stated.

“Gumising na lang po ako isang hapon, nag-trending na ako kahit wala naman akong masamang ginagaw.”

Ryssi allegedly felt a loss of self-esteem here, most likely as a result of the bashers’ criticism, and agreed to stop singing for a year.

After hearing the girl’s story, the “Idol Philippines” judges asked her to sing, but some of them had already become expressive while listening.

Ryssi’s performance impressed the four of them, particularly when they got to hear what she personally wrote while reading the concern.

When she finished singing her original composition, “Matsala,” Regine, Gary, and Moira all applaused.

Since Moira made her statement, it appeared that the other judges has just heard that she was planning to give the platinum ticket, which she could just offer once to the competition contestant.

Just because your past is broken, dowsn’t mean your future has to be,” said the “Malaya,” Ryssi was told by the “Malaya” singer.

“I feel it in my bones na ikaw ito, para sa iyo ito. You are called for such a time as this,” she added as she given the platinum ticket towards the girl.

Ryssi sincerely thanked Moira with tears and hugged Regine, Gary, and Chito.
