Ruffa Gutierrez replied to former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guazon’s tweet regarding two reportedly “pinaláyas” home maids.
Guanzon recently stated on Twitter that her friend had to save two kasambahays who were employed in a first-class village after their boss sent them away without paying their salaries.
Guanzon retweeted the post and questioned the actress, “Ruffa Gutierrez is it true?” Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez’s daughter disproved this.
“Hello Ms. Guanzon, No it’s not true. There was a situation at home while I was shooting on the set of “Maid In Malacañang”, so my staff had to call security to make sure my children were safe,” Ruffa claimed.
The actress also claimed that her two new kasambahays were battling her 68-year-old mayordoma, who has been with her for 18 years.
Ruffa insisted that the two household workers leave her house, although she ordered them to stay until she came back home so she could speak with them.
“Let me make it clear po: I did NOT fire anyone. They wanted to leave on their own accord. I have rarely been home shooting everyday, all day, all night for #MAIDinMALACANANG – You should watch it BTW. You’re gonna love it,” the actress asserted.
Ruffa Gutierrez also stated that she has always been kind to her loved ones and those who worked for her, and as a result, the majority of their kasambahays have remained with them for many years. It’s also because she regards them to be family.
“My lawyers are on top of the situation. Thank you and have a great day po,” the actress concluded.
