Ruffa Gutierrez, a Filipina model, actress, presenter, and beauty queen, is the daughter of talent manager Annabelle Rama and veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez. Richard, Raymond, Tonton, Ramon, Elvis, Rocky, and Ritchie Paul are her seven brothers.

Ruffa Gutierrez previously responded to Senator Robin Padilla, an actor-turned-politician. The newest legislator presented legislation to make divorce legal in the country.

He stated that it is not intended to ruin marriages, but rather to help victims of failed relationships.

Ruffa views Robin’s divorce bill as the finest news in her Twitter post. She included the hashtag #YesToDivorce as well.

Divorce is currently illegal in only two states: the Vatican City and the Philippines. If Robin’s measure is adopted and signed into law, one of the reason for divorce will be the  “incapacity of either spouse to perform essential marital obligations.”

It is unclear why the 48-year-old former beauty queen supports divorce legislation in the country, yet it should be noted that she also asked for a divorce from Yilmaz.

According to Maharlika TV, among the grounds specified in the bill are irreconcilable differences, inability of either spouse to execute essential marital obligations, having a child with another person, and VAWC conviction.

“Wala tayong sinisirang pamilya. Pinroproteksyunan natin ang hindi magkasundo,” Robin stated.
