Actor Paulo Avelino plays an unexpected part in the Filipino adaptation of Flower of Evil, which also stars Piolo Pascual and Lovi Poe.

According to the Inquirer, Paulo’s role is a mystery man who is in a coma within a hidden room in his rich parents’ home.

Paulo stated that one of the most interesting portions of his role is yet to come. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work on this project, which is completely different from his most recent romantic comedy series with Janine Gutierrez.

Paulo stated that was one of the reasons he took the part, as well as the reality that this was not identical to the original K-drama.

He’s really thrilled since it’s his first work experience with Piolo Pascual, and while he’s worked with Lovi Poe previously, this is his first time filming a series with her.

When asked regarding his preparations for his surprise part in Flower of Evil, Paulo Avelino said that the most important thing he did was study the script and grasp his part.

“Non-stop reading until you get ideas, alam mo ang gagawin mo sa character at paano mo iapply sa mga eksena,” he said.
