Last Saturday, July 16, the comedian and “Goin’ Bulilit” star used her Facebook page to give followers a preview of her father’s birthday party.

For her father’s 63rd birthday, Kiray Celis surprised him with a cake that contained P63,000.

A video showing Celis delivering her father’s three birthday cakes—one of which concealed P63,000—can be seen. She then urged him to smash the cake that she suspected would contain her present.

Even though her father misjudged the cake, Celis still gave her a gift, and he was delighted to have the money.

“[P63,000] sa 63-year-old birthday boy! Maubos man ang ipon ko sa kakapa-money cake sa inyo every birthday niyo ni mama, okay lang. Sobrang thankful at blessed ako taon-taon na nadadagdagan lagi ang buhay niyo,” she stated. “Mahal na mahal ko kayo papa at mama!”

For the 63-year-old birthday boy, P63,000. It’s acceptable even if I blow all of my funds on birthday cakes for your mom and you. You are granted more life each year, and I am extremely grateful and fortunate for that. Papa and Mama, how much I adore you.

Celis has a history of giving her parents monetary presents; last year, she gave her father P62,000 for his 62nd birthday. He also gave him a brand-new smartphone for the new year. When her mother turned 57 last May, the actress gave her a present of P57,000.
