Ogie Diaz, a loyal Kakampink, has stated his support for President Bongbong Marcos’ government.

Regardless of the fact that the candidate with the most votes was not the one for whom he supported, Ogie Diaz expressed his support for the newly-elected President.

“Kakampink po ako, pero gusto kong batiin si President-elect Bongbong Marcos. Maaga ang acceptance sa akin (nung May 10 pa) para maaga rin ang pag-move on at pag-move forward,” the talent manager stated in a previous Facebook post.

During the election period, Ogie was really quite active. He was one of the famous Kakampinks that took part in the campaign around the Philippines. 

Ogie was very active on social media in promoting the politicians he backed. He backed former Vice President Leni Robredo and former Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

He assured that he would not hesitate to congratulate the President because of his wonderful programs, but Ogie also expects that the Marcos administration would be available for recommendations and guidance.

“Para po sa bayan ang aking dasal. At alam ko, kahit ang 31 milyong Pilipinong bumoto ay ganundin. Mabuhay po kayo, Pangulong BBM!” Ogie remarked.

Fellow Kakampinks of the talent manager-vlogger had similar opinions about him. They also stated that they have embraced that their candidates did not win and that they will support the new government’s goal of improving the situation in the Philippines.

“Kakampink din ako pero sana nga ay magampanan ni BBM ng mabuti ang lahat ng mga pinangako niya at sumasaludo rin ako sa kanya,” a netizen noted.
