Marian Rivera’s body language behind the screen shocked Pinay champion Hidilyn Diaz.

Hidilyn Diaz previously posted on Instagram her experience with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. Hidilyn encountered Marian at a gymnastics class after the latter managed to bring her daughter Zia.

Hidilyn Diaz became the first Filipino to win an Olympic gold medal after effectively lifting 127 kg in the clean and jerk event. She beat out eight other athletes, which include China’s world record holder Liao Qiuyun.

Hidilyn Diaz won back-to-back gold medals in the women’s 55kg weightlifting competition at the SEA Games in Vietnam in 2022. She defeated Sanikun Tanasan of Thailand, a 2016 Olympic gold medalist.

The Pinay champion revealed that she was nervous regarding reaching the famous actress for a photo.

She was relieved, however, to discover that Rivera was a kind and sweet person behind the screen. Hidilyn furthermore appreciated the famous actress for becoming an involved parent to her daughter.

“Nahihiya ako magpga-picture kay idol Marian Rivera. Siyempre Marian yan! Mabait and sweet pala siya in person. Hands-on at supportive siya kay Zia. Kudos to Marian,” Marian stated.

Further to that, Hidilyn Diaz applauded Zia Dantes’ gymnastics output.

 “Ang galing ni Zia sa mga training niya kanina. Kudos kay idol Marian pina-enroll niya sa gymnastics class si Zia,” Hidilyn stated.
