Kryz Uy has slammed a fake Facebook account that “scammed” people by using her name and photos of her 2-year-old son Scottie.

Yesterday, July 25, the vlogger warned fans about the fake account while showing one of its posts on her Instagram Stories. The “sponsored” content post by the poser featured a photo of Uy bonding with her son while holding a book for pre-school children. It also displays a link that appears to direct netizens to an online store.

“Getting so many [direct messages] about this fake account. Using all variations of my name, making new accounts after the original gets reported and deleted. I don’t sell anything to my fans and I never pay to boost my posts,” Kryz Uy stated.

“Most importantly, ‘wag niyo isama anak ko sa scam niyo! Already reached out to Facebook. Hope they will take it down soon,” she continued.

Meanwhile, Uy recently expressed relief after her 7-week-old son Sevi had a successful inguinal hernia surgery. Uy and her husband, fellow vlogger Slater Young, admitted they were “caught off guard” by Sevi’s condition because they assumed she was healthy.

Scottie, the couple’s first child, was born in June 2020, and Sevi, their second child, was born last May.
