Is James Reid and his record label Careless Music working with BamBam and Starship Entertainment from GOT7? Fans believe so because the actor-singer was seen meeting with the Thai rapper and a K-pop agency.
Reid paid a visit to Starship Entertainment with Careless Music CEO Jeffrey Oh and actress Liza Soberano, who recently signed with his label, as seen on Oh’s Instagram Stories on July 4.
Oh did not elaborate on the meeting, only captioning it “Careless X Starship.”
Starship Entertainment is based in South Korea and represents the K-pop groups Monsta X, WJSN, and IVE.
Meanwhile, a collaboration between Reid and BamBam was apparently teased via Instagram Stories yesterday by one @porksterr, who is apparently one of Reid’s friends. He tagged Reid, BamBam, and Korean artist Junwoo Yoon with three hands on top of each other.
He said, “Let’s go”
As a result, fans began making witty remarks and speculating about the possible collaboration.
“James Reid is in charge of GOT7.” @uhheocham joked, “Baka 8th member yarn.” (James Reid is [working with] GOT7 members one by one, and he may be the eighth.)
“James Reid and Liza Soberano at Starship Entertainment ta’s (then) James Reid with BamBam? [Collab] ba mangyayari mga besh (Is a collab happening)?” A netizen asked.
If Reid is indeed working on a project with BamBam, it will be the second time Reid and Careless Music have collaborated with a member of GOT7.
Last March, the actor-singer released the song “Hello 2.0 (Legends Only)” with GOT7’s Jay B and Taiwanese-American rapper ZI.
