Lara Quigaman, a beauty queen and actress, did not like being mocked by a netizen.

Some people are claiming that they will divorce their husband, Marco Alcaraz, as a result of celebrity couples’ divorces.

Lara revealed her opinions on the negative vision that some of their wonderful husband and wife wished to happen on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

As for Miss International 2005, she stated, “‘Hintay lang kayo, next year, hiwalay na din kayo.’—came across this comment in one of my previous post in facebook where I shared some ‘asawa tips’.

“Recently, ang daming balita ng hiwalayan, away, etc. Nakakalungkot, pero mas nakakalungkot na maraming tao are making memes and jokes out of it and what’s worse, others pa are waiting for other relationships to fail!”

Memes that circulated included images of Luis Manzano sobbing during his wedding to Jessy Mendiola, Aljur Abrenica crying at his wedding to Kylie Padilla, and Jason Hernandez crying at his wedding to Moira dela Torre.

The last two couples separated, but Luis and Jessy’s marriage is easy and peaceful.

For Lara, the reason they will divorce is not because the man sobbed at the wedding. They are similar to her husband, Marco, who sobbed during both of their weddings.

“Marco cried on both of our weddings, sa unang kasal pa nga namin sa Vancouver, humagulgol siya… does that mean—maghihiwalay kami dahil lang umiyak ang asawa ko sa kasal namin? And are some people really waiting and hoping for that to happen?”

Lara added, “Marriage is not easy. Marco and I have been married for almost 12 years- but we always pray and ask God to cover our relationship, we pray that we will never be complacent and think we are alright when we are not.

“We are not perfect and we know that there will be temptations and challenges all the time and we can only rely on God’s grace to keep us from falling and failing…

“For those who are going through challenges in their married life- God is gracious, give your frustrations and heartaches to Him.

“Nothing is too broken for Him to restore and make whole again, nothing too impossible for Him to fix… seek Him, cry out to Him. He answers… I am praying with you tonight. [heart emoji]”

In 2010, Lara and Marco married in private civil procedures with spiritual blessing in Canada.
