Keempee is the son of comedians Joey de Leon and Daria Ramirez. His true name is Joseph Joachim Tugas de Leon.

His acting career began in 1988 with the Viva Films film I Love You 3x a Day, in which he was cast with Gelli de Belen and Jimmy Santos.

He soon became a regular on three TV shows: Eat Bulaga, That’s Agila, and Entertainment.

He got his big break on TV when he landed a main part in GMA’s Villa Quintana, with Donna Cruz.

He was kicked off of the show Eat Bulaga in 2016. 12 years later,

In 2019, he returned to ABS-CBN and appeared with Cristine Reyes in the drama Nang Ngumiti ang Langit.

De Leon and his ex-girlfriend have a daughter called Samantha.

Keempee de Leon, meanwhile, resorted to social media to express his “sama ng loob.”
