Following the announcement, Marcos Jr.’s side began publishing the list of his cabinet members. Many offers have been approved so far in this. There are now at least 20 persons that have committed to serve in Bongbong Marcos’ cabinet.
Marcos Jr.’s presidential campaign was obviously heated. Numerous petitions were filed demanding that his candidacy be withdrawn and that he be disqualified from the presidential race. His campaign sparked debate over martial law, his tax problems, and his family’s suspected ill-gotten riches.
The Commission on Elections dismissed all petitions submitted opposing Marcos Jr.’s presidential campaign (Comelec). During the combined session of the Senate and the House of Representatives, he was declared the elected president after the canvass.
Former Senator Bongbong Marcos was named president of the Philippines after receiving more than 31 million votes in the Elections 2022, marking a landslide win. He will become the Republic of the Philippines’ 17th president.
According to an ABS-CBN News report, the following people have accepted to be members of Bongbong Marcos’ cabinet as of this posting:

- Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr.
- Executive Secretary – Vic Rodriguez
- Department of Migrant Workers – Susan “Toots” Ople
- Department of Justice (DOJ) – Rep. Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla
- Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – Bienvenido Laguesma
- National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) – Arsenio Balisacan
- Department of Finance (DOF) – Benjamin Diokno
- Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor – Felipe Medalla
- Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Alfredo Pascual
