Dennis Padilla, a comedian, has apologized to his son, Leon Barretto for his viral public “humiliation” of his children. Dennis criticized the children Julia, Leon, and Claudia, on Instagram over a week earlier for “forgetting” to welcome their father on Father’s Day.
Following the publication of Leon Barretto’s open letter to his estranged father, Dennis Padilla, the comedian reacted to his son via social media as well.
“I am sorry [Leon,] Miss ko lang [kayo],” Dennis posted on Instagram Monday
Dennis, who posted an old photo of himself with his son, questioned Leon, “What false narrative [I] said in public?” “I’ve been reaching out to all of you in private for 15 years.”
Dennis wrote a handwritten letter with a red heart emoji caption in a second post. “To be your father is the greatest honor I have received,” he started.
Leon apologized to his father for not greeting him, explaining that he was always scared to do so since Dennis was “always” discussing their intimate things in public.
Despite the fact that they are always attempting to restore their connection with the father.
