Angeline Quinto, a Kapamilya singer, talks about her unique experiences as a first-time mom to Sylvio.
Angeline Quinto, a Kapamilya singer, gave birth to her first child, Sylvio, with her non-showbiz spouse Nonrev Daquina, in April. She also gave birth just in time for Mother’s Day the following month, when she was surprised by her spouse.
Motherhood, as so many people are saying, is a lifetime commitment. It does not have a day off and does not offer leave privileges. Once you become a mother, you are a mother for the rest of your life.

Angeline sees motherhood as a privilege and a blessing. She had hoped for this, and she is happy that she now has another purpose to live and another motivation to work well.
She came back to work shortly after giving birth. And she recently revealed a little about motherhood. She was informed about postpartum blues, but she’s not sure if she’s experiencing them. But she is aware of her dramatic emotional shifts.
“So may mga pagkakataon po na bigla akong iiyak, ‘di ko alam kung ano ang dahilan. Minsan ‘yung papa ng baby ko, galit ako sa kanya, ‘di ko rin alam ang dahilan. Minsan may time na in love na in love ako. May time na tuwang-tuwa ako sa kanya,” Angeline stated.

Yet, she is mindful that all of these feelings are normal for a mother, and she is accepting them. It wasn’t easy, she said, but it’s all worth it when she looks at her baby.
Aside from mood swings, she finds staying up late with her kid to be the most difficult.
“Ang pinaka-challenging ‘yung lagi akong puyat. Minsan natataranta ako kapag biglang umiiyak ‘yung baby. Minsan kapag pinaliliguan mo siya, ‘di mo alam kung may mali ba sa paraan ng pagpapaligo ko,” she stated.
