The Kapuso actress recently visited the United States to see her spouse, Gerald Sibayan.
The comedienne is the major star of Kapuso Afternoon Prime’s “Raising Mamay,” in which she portrayed “Letty,” a character who had brain regression after being shot.
Prior to flying back to San Francisco, Aiai traveled to Tiara Koto Hall in Tokyo, Japan, to meet and greet her fans and to mark the 124th Independence Day, Filipino Migrant Day, and Uniteam Victory Party.
She posted a selfie of herself on Instagram, claiming she’s “going home” to San Francisco and can’t wait to meet her spouse.
“Going home see you later darl @gerald sibayan #sanfransisco #missmydarling #balikbuhaymaybahay #uwianna” she captioned her Instagram image.
Gerald, on his part, posted an Instagram Story photo of his wife, indicating that she had landed safely in the United States.
Aiai and Gerald excitedly announced their weekend break trip to Lake Tahoe with their fans a week ago.
Earlier this year, the Quezon City Council passed a resolution designating Aiai and director Darryl Yap as “persona non grata.”
According to a Bandera article, the actress stated that the proclamation should have no impact on her because she did not believe the people of the area were unhappy or disliked her.
“Hindi ako welcome sa mga taga-City Hall, pero ‘yung mga tao sa Quezon City, welcome ako sa kanila,” Aiai remarked.
