Various stories surfaced about Liza seeking a career in the United States. Her previous manager, Ogie Diaz, disclosed in a vlog that the actress is now being handled by James Reid and his group. James has also begun to travel internationally.

Despite being one of the top superstars of her generation in the Philippine entertainment industry, actress Liza Soberano shared why she chose to seek a career in Hollywood.

Liza attended Identity, a Pacific Bridge Arts Foundation annual festival held in conjunction with Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This was her first step in dreaming of her Hollywood ambition.

Liza Soberano stated in an interview posted on Myx Global’s Instagram page that this event is quite strange for her.

“I’m actually very nervous right now because this is my first time speaking on a stage in America. It has always been a dream of mine to come over here and being able to do work here so I am really happy, [excited] and feel incredibly honored,” Liza Soberano stated.

She also confessed that stepping out of her comfort zone might be frightening, but she has mastered her fear of exploring. Liza emphasized that it is absolutely better for her to stay in the Philippines and continue doing what she has been doing for the past decade.

She, on the other hand, preferred to focus on her particular objective.

“But my personal goal is to be able to bridge the gap between the Philippines and America and kind of help the younger generation, the little girls, who also dream of coming out here and making a career for themselves,” Liza stated.

She went on to say that she wants to make it easy for the next generation to participate on the international scene.

“If that means me taking the first leap, so be it,” Liza added.

Liza also mentioned that she has a lot of interesting things coming up, but she did not provide any specifics regarding her future endeavours.
