MANILA — Kaori Oinuma, Kyle Echarri, and Joao Constancia will feature in a series adaptation of the Wattpad tale “Kiss Master,” which will be co-produced by Kumu and Black Sheep.

Variety reported on Monday that the project, an eight-episode series, had been unveiled.

Chad Vidanes, the director of another Wattpad adaption, “He’s Into Her,” will direct “Kiss Master.”

According to Variety, the Wattpad title “follows five years after Sussie’s heart was destroyed by bad boy millionaire Arkanghel Wolfgang.” It was written by Jamille Fumah.

“When he reappears in her life it is not clear that their differences can be bridged.”

Oinuma will play Sussie, Echarri will play Arkanghel, and Constancia will play Hugo, who is characterized as “a disruptive influence.”

Fumah, also known as @JFStories on Wattpad, has 1.5 million followers, with 30 tales published and over 336 million cumulative reads.

Kumu and Wattpad’s debut collaboration is “Kiss Master.”
