Darren Espanto celebrated his 21st birthday with a star-studded celebration that was enhanced by a message from British musician Calum Scott.

While posting photographs from his birthday celebration on his Instagram page yesterday, May 30, the “The Voice Kids” alumnus expressed appreciation to everyone who helped make his birthday a “dream come true.”

“What a way to celebrate my 21st birthday! Thank you so much to all the people who helped me make this dream come true. Though this was a last minute idea, it all came to fusion because of the help I got from a few people,” he said.

“To my friends and family who came, especially my parents and little sister who flew all the way from Canada, THANK YOU! I love [you all]!” he added.

Fans and fellow celebrities, including the British singer, greeted Espanto.

“Happy birthday Darren!” Scott said, adding a fire emoji.

Prior to this, Scott spotted Espanto after he shared a TikTok duet of the latter’s song “Heaven,” and the Filipino singer was among the “gifted” people praised by Scott in an Instagram post on May 18.

Espanto also shared an Instagram live broadcast with Scott on Thursday, May 26, during which the latter applauded his song “Sasagipin Kita.”

Espanto celebrated his 21st birthday last week with a celebration. Regine Velasquez, Vice Ganda, Ogie Alcasid, Vicki Belo, KZ Tandingan, and Gary Valenciano were among the celebrities that attended the event.

Scott, on the other hand, is recognized for songs like “You Are the Reason,” “Dancing on My Own,” and “If Our Love Is Wrong.”
