Kriz Anthony Gazmen, whose business unit Black Sheep created the Kapamilya successes “Alone/Together” and “Exes Baggage,” has been named as the next CEO of ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc., the company said on Friday.
Gazmen succeeds famous filmmaker Olivia Lamasan, who will continue to work as a consultant for ABS-CBN Films’ film brands Star Cinema and Black Sheep.
Gazmen joined Star Cinema in 2007 as a creative producer and progressed through the ranks to become creative director in 2015. In 2018, he oversaw the formation of Black Sheep.
Prior to joining Black Sheep, Gazmen’s major efforts were “I Love You Goodbye” (2009), “No Other Woman” (2011), “One More Try” (2012), “The Trial” (2014), and “Etiquette for Mistresses” (2015). (2015).
“In his new role, Kriz will usher in a fresh era of storytelling as ABS-CBN Films continues to explore novel approaches in content creation and platform migration in order to reach more audiences,” according to the company.
