Senator Kiko Pangilinan went to Twitter to express gratitude to his nephew, Donny Pangilinan, and his sisters, Hanna and Ella, for their assistance in his campaign.
The senator is competing for vice president in the May 2022 elections with VP Leni Robredo, who is running for the presidency.
Senator Kiko extended his heartfelt thanks to his “pamangkins” for actively engaging in what he considered the “battle of the current generation” in a Twitter post.
Senator Pangilinan tweeted, “I am really thankful sa mga pamangkin ko (to my nephews), @donnypangilinan, @hannahkathleenp, and @EllaPangilinanx for being part of this fight of our generation.”
He also used hashtags to promote his campaign slogans, #HelloPagkainGoodbyeGutom and #7KikoPangilinanVicePresident.
The senator also stated the hashtag saying #LeniKikoAllTheWay, which is perhaps directed to those who are campaigning for VP Leni for president, albeit with a different candidate for vice president.
Sen. Kiko’s “pamangkins” are highly active in assisting their uncle in attracting voters, with Donny even singing on stage during the Pasiglaban rally on March 20.
Sen. Kiko was unable to attend the Pasiglaban due to a televised discussion.
His “pamangkins” were recently observed on a house-to-house campaign to persuade residents to vote for the Leni-Kiko duo.
