The beauty queen disclosed that they just went through a difficult period by sharing a snapshot of them holding hands, with the photograph revealing her father’s hand with an IV (intravenous) set implanted into it.

“I can’t even express how grateful I am to God, and my family and friends who were praying alongside my family and I these last two weeks,” she wrote in the caption.

“Prayer is so powerful – my family’s story is a testament to that. It was one of the scariest times, but we are out of the woods now. My dad is the strongest person I know, my real life hero,” Catriona added.

Miss Universe 2018 did not provide any more information on her father’s health. Despite this, her post has received a lot of support from her followers and friends, including Sandra Lemonon and Hannah Arnold.
