Angel Locsin, a Kapamilya actress, claimed that she and her husband Neil Arce had no plans to have a child.
Angel discussed her thyroid condition in an interview with actor and talent manager Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel, which was posted last Monday.
“Wala talaga sa plano namin ‘yun plus meron din kaming mga konting health issues na kailangan ayusin. I have a thyroid problem kasi, Hashimoto. Parang autoimmune disease siya sa thyroid pero under control naman siya, nag-under medication naman ako. ‘Pag OK na siya tsaka pwede mag-baby,”
(It’s not really in our plan, plus we also have a few health issues that need to be fixed. I have a thyroid problem, Hashimoto. He seems to have autoimmune thyroid disease but he is under control, I am under medication. “When she’s OK, she can have a baby) Angel Locsin explained.
Angel also expressed her delight at the pregnancy of her pals Dimples Roman and Angelica Panganiban.
“I’m so happy for them. Ang tagal nilang hinintay ‘yun, pinagplanuhan nila ‘yun talaga. Darating din tayo dyan. Happy rin ako na wala pa ako sa gano’ng position, sa totoo lang,” (I’m so happy for them. That’s how long they waited, they really planned that. We will get there. I’m also happy that I’m not in that position yet, honestly) she said.
“‘Pag oras mo na talaga, ‘pag tingin ni Lord na you’re ready, bibigyan ka naman niya ng blessing. Kumbaga moment pa nila ‘yun, ‘wag muna ako,” (When it’s really time, ‘when the Lord thinks you’re ready, he’ll give you a blessing. It’s like they’re still ‘that moment,’ don’t let me) she added.
“Natatakot din ako kasi feeling ko napaka-stage mother ko ‘pag naging nanay talaga ako. Natatakot ako kasi parang hindi ko alam kung paano mag-alaga [pero] basta ‘yung pagmamahal ko sa kanya talagang hindi ko mae-explain – kung gaano kalaki ‘yung pagmamahal na readyng-ready ako ibigay sa kanya (I’m also scared because I feel like I’m a very stage mother ‘cause when I really become a mother. I’m scared because I don’t seem to know how to take care of him [but] as long as I love him I really can’t explain-how much love I’m ready to give him),” she said.
