Yassi chose to purchase all of the detainees’ handcrafted goods during her visit.

Yassi Pressman, 26, has received appreciation from the internet community for her recent visit to the Quezon City Jail Female Dormitory. On Instagram, the actress-host expresses her love to the detainees and even purchases some of their handcrafted items.

She started by stating she “went to the Quezon City Jail Female Dormitory to buy shampoos and conditioners for 600 of these lovely ladies who deserve a second chance.”

Yassi stated that she chose to purchase all of the handcrafted bags and pillows produced by the detainees in order to express her support for them.

“I also bought all of the handcrafted bags and pillows they made that was displayed on the table to show support, para maramdaman naman nila na yung pinaghihirapan nila may magandang kapalit! And they can use that budget for personal needs or pwede rin nila i-share sa pamilya nila dito sa labas.” she said.

Yassi shared her joy in her popular post after watching the detainees’ desire to become better someday.

“Alam niyo po nakakatuwa po dahil naniniwala sila na sa pansamantalang tahanan po nila na iyon, may maganda pa rin pong bukas na nag-aabang sa kanila.” she wrote.
