Ogie Diaz posted a lengthy and heartfelt explanation of why he is willingly supporting Vice President Leni Robredo.

He stated that he was the one who called her, offering to assist without payment.

The comedian stated that he has never been active in a political campaign like VP Leni’s, but he is doing so since his first concern is the country’s future.

The comedian mentioned Vice President Leni’s attributes, such as being highly dedicated, fulfilling her commitments, helpful, and sincere.

Ogie Diaz took to Facebook to explain why he is supporting and volunteering for Vice President Leni Robredo.

The comedian stated that he wanted to serve the country and that Vice President Leni has the attributes he seeks in a leader.

“Actually, ako ang nagprisinta. Sabi ko, tutulong ako. Sasampa ako bilang host. Walang bayad. Libre. Abonado pa nga.”

“Pero di ako nanghihinayang. Gusto kong tulungan ang bayan ko, kaya yung kilala kong makakatulong maiahon ang bansa, ikinakampanya ko.”

He even stated that he has been assaulted several times, but he is unconcerned since all he is concerned about right now is the welfare of the country.

“Sari-saring bashing na ang natanggap ko. Nanganganak ang mga bashers ko, pero wala akong pakialam.”

“Ang pakialam ko ay ang kapakanan ng bayan ko at ng taumbayan. Lagi kong sinasabi, kahit sino pa ang maging presidente, hindi magugutom ang pamilya ko, dahil sapat ang kinikita ko, ang naiipon ko para sa kinabukasan nila.”

The comedian revealed that it was only now that he became so interested in politics, because to his desire for a good administration.

“Kaya tumataya ako kay Leni Gerona Robredo kasi nakilala ko siya nang malaliman. Hindi pakitang tao. Totoong matulungin sa kapwa. Totoong makabayan at mahal niya ang mga Pilipino.
