A netizen spotted a student answering her modules on a footbridge in Naga City, Camarines Sur on late Wednesday evening, June 2, 2021. Uploader Essel Bermundo said that Carla Radores, 20, stays on the footbridge to work on her modules while using free wifi from a hotel near the Naga River.
Bermundo shared the photos of the grade 11 student on social media in hopes of inspiring other students who are struggling with the distance learning setup amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I gladly announce that our Local Government of the City of Naga through the help of Mayor Nelson Legacion and Sir Ruel Oliver will offer the installation of free public wifi on Barangay Peñafrancia and will also include the 27 Barangays in Naga City,” she said on Facebook.
