The television industry is mourning the passing of actress Arlene Tolibas who passed away at the age of 55 on June 3, 2021 due to cardiac arrest. Messages of condolence poured in on social media for Arlene who has worked with almost all artists and producers in the entertainment industry.
Before discovering her ability to act in movies and television shows, Arlene was first known as the floor director of television programs and awards nights by award-giving bodies such as Gawad Urian, Star Awards, Film Academy of the Philippines and Box Office. Entertainment Awards by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
“So sad to hear about Arlene Tolibas. Nakakalungkot at nakakabigla. Nakikiramay po kami sa kanyang mga mahal sa buhay. Rest now my dear Arlene. Salamat sa lahat. Mahal ka namin,” said Ogie Alcasid.
