Kim Atienza could not help but react to the news report released by GMA News about Thai actor Mario Maurer and his message for Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo.

Mario is the brand ambassador of a telecommunications company. At the virtual media conference that took place yesterday, May 11, he spoke about the Philippine bet on the 69th Miss Universe.

Kim did not miss what Mario said and we feel in his comment that he sympathizes with singer-comedienne Kakai Bautista.

“No, Rabiya is not a fan of yours, Kakai was and how badly you and your PR team treated her. Just had to say that,” said Kim Atienza.

The demand letter sent by Mario’s camp to Kakai in March 2021 seems to be the source of Kim’s unfavorable comment for the Thai actor.

Meanwhile, Mario mentioned at the virtual presscon yesterday that he wants to return to the Philippines and make a film.
